Slopless

The web, without the slop.

Slopless is a browser extension that spots AI-generated content in your search results and feeds, then removes it before you waste a click on it.

Five detection layers, cheapest first.

Every post, video, and search result is checked against a pipeline of detection layers. The cheap checks run instantly so scrolling never stutters; the expensive ones run in the background and catch up.

  1. Layer 1Platform AI labelsYouTube, TikTok, Instagram and others already tag some content as AI-generated. Slopless reads those labels and acts on them.
  2. Layer 2Content Credentials (C2PA)Images and videos can carry cryptographic provenance metadata declaring an AI tool as the source. Slopless verifies it.
  3. Layer 3Community blocklistsCurated, regularly updated lists of known AI-content channels, accounts, and domains. You can add your own lists too.
  4. Layer 4Metadata heuristicsScores channel names, descriptions, and hashtags for the patterns content farms tend to leave behind.
  5. Layer 5Text analysisScores the visible text for the usual AI writing tells. It adds weight to the other layers but never hides anything by itself.

Pro also comes with the Everything AI filter, which hides content about AI as well, whether a human wrote it or not.

Works on the sites you actually use.

Slopless ships with support for the platforms below, and its detection rules update automatically, so new sites and new tricks don't have to wait for an extension update.

Everything runs on your device.

Detection happens entirely inside your browser. Slopless has no analytics, no tracking, and no server that sees what you browse. The only network requests it makes are for downloading updated detection rules and, if you're a Pro user, checking your license key. The privacy policy is short because there isn't much to disclose.

Free to start. Pro from $2.50/month.

The free tier includes label, provenance, and blocklist filtering. Pro adds the heuristic and text-analysis layers plus the Everything AI filter, on up to 5 browsers.
